2026 Quilt Challenge

Land That I Love

This year we are taking a break from our usual quilt challenge in order to do a celebration of the United States of America’s 250th birthday!

For those who wish to participate, the theme is Land That I Love. Participants are invited to create a piece that represents something about the United States they want to celebrate. This doesn’t necessarily have to mean red, white, and blue: this can mean firefighters, veterans, the space program, teachers, the Armed Forces, national parks, a moment in history–let inspiration run wild, whether you want to use an existing panel or pattern, or create something entirely unique.

The due date will be the June 11th meeting, where we’ll have a special celebration of both the country and our works, including apple and cherry pies.
